On November 15, 2014, Orlando Ford, a 39-year-old resident of San Francisco, was shot and killed near the intersection of Mission Street and Geneva Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing an argument just before the gunfire erupted. Ford was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the upper body. Following the incident, two suspects, described only as men in their 30s, were seen fleeing the area in what appeared to be a van. No arrests have been reported in connection to the case.
