On January 20, 2017, 18-year-old Josiah Lightfoot was shot and killed in the Oceanview neighborhood of San Francisco. The shooting occurred around 4:35 p.m. near the intersection of Broad Street and Plymouth Avenue. Police arrived at the scene to find Lightfoot with a fatal gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
