Alexander Apalit, a 21-year-old man from Daly City, was tragically killed on the evening of April 18, 2009, in San Francisco. The shooting took place around 9:15 p.m. while Apalit was a passenger in a vehicle traveling along Otsego Avenue near the intersection of Santa Ynez in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. Apalit was shot multiple times, and despite efforts to identify the suspects, no arrests were immediately made. His death was part of a violent weekend in the city that saw several homicid ...
