On December 29, 2011, Reginald Hall, a 39-year-old Black male, was found dead inside a residence on Detroit’s east side, the victim of a targeted shooting that interrupted a holiday season gathering. The incident took place at a home located on Harding Street, situated between Mack and Warren Avenues, where Hall had joined several other individuals for a card game. The atmosphere of the social event was shattered when an intruder entered the premises with lethal intent.
