On March 12, 2015, 19-year-old African American male Patrick M. Jones Jr. was fatally shot while waiting at a bus stop on Detroit’s west side. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on the 9200 block of Patton Street, between Cathedral and Westfield.
