Deborah Pearl, a 53-year-old African American woman from Twinsburg, Ohio, tragically lost her life on August 27, 2016, in Solon, Ohio. She was on her way to work when she was involved in a car accident caused by Matthew Desha, a 29-year-old former Marine. Desha ran a red light and crashed into Pearl's car, which led to a series of events that ended in her death.
