Brandi Bledsoe, a 32-year-old transgender woman from Cleveland, Ohio, was found dead on October 8, 2016. She was discovered in the driveway of her home with plastic bags tied around her head and hands. Bledsoe had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and head trauma. Her body was found by a young boy riding his bike. The Cuyahoga County medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.
