Shawn Joseph McDaniel, a 28-year-old white male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2016. Early that morning, around 4:40 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 45 S. Terrace Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found McDaniel suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and unresponsive. Despite immediate medical attention, McDaniel was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:48 a.m.
