Curtis Boston Jr., a 25-year-old man from Cincinnati, OH, tragically died on December 8, 2016. His body was discovered burned in the back parking lot of a building in Cincinnati's CUF neighborhood on December 9, 2017. The Cincinnati Fire Department responded to a fire at the location and found Boston's body during their investigation.
The investigation into Curtis Boston Jr.'s death was treated as a homicide by Cincinnati police.
Years later, in March 2023, two men were indicted on charges related to his death. William McGivens, 36, and Quincy Ray, 42, were charged with aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence. According to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office, McGivens and Ray lured Boston to a location, shot him, and then chased him with a car when he tried to flee. They subsequently drove him to another location where he was fatally shot, and his body was burned.
William McGivens was arrested and later indicted on the charges. Quincy Ray has yet to be apprehended, and the investigation remains ongoing. McGivens had a prior criminal record, having pleaded guilty to abduction and carrying concealed weapons in August 2020 and serving three years in prison for those offenses.
The case continues to be a focal point for Cincinnati police, who are actively seeking information to bring all responsible parties to justice.
