Rusty Lee Oehlers, a 27-year-old white male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically passed away on February 21, 2017, after being shot the previous day. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. on February 20, 2017, on South Hague Avenue. Oehlers was one of two victims who were transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital by apparent witnesses to the shooting. Unfortunately, Rusty succumbed to his injuries the following day.
