Mohamed Deq Mohamed, a 22-year-old male of Somali ethnicity, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. Mohamed was one of three Rochester men who were visiting a friend in Columbus for a soccer tournament. The incident occurred when the three men were targeted in an attempted robbery. Omar Abdulkadir Ali, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Mohamed Deq Mohamed and Ali Abdulkadir Ali, 23, were transported to Mt. Carmel West Hospital in critical condition. Unfortunatel ...
