Muhannad Osman Ahmed Afdal, a 21-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. He was found with a gunshot wound to the upper abdomen in the courtyard of the Abbey Lane apartment complex on Golden Gate Square. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center, Afdal succumbed to his injuries at 10:15 p.m.
