Theodore Anthony Stokes, a 20-year-old African American male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2017. He was fatally shot at the corner of Traymore Place and Republic Avenue, alongside Daryll Gavin, who succumbed to his injuries several days later at Grant Hospital. The incident occurred around 1:50 PM when Columbus Police patrol officers responded to the scene and found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite extensive investigations, the case remains unsolved. The Ohio Attorney General's Office has classified it as an unsolved homicide and continues to seek information from the public.
