On a warm Saturday evening in Las Vegas, on May 17, 2008, the life of 25-year-old Hispanic male Jose Gilberto-Guerro was tragically cut short. He and two friends were gathered near a car on Kolendo Court, in the vicinity of Decatur Boulevard and Twain Avenue, when a dark-colored Honda, believed to be either an Accord or a Civic, approached them. The time was approximately 10:10 p.m., and the night was about to take a violent turn.
