Najae Monique Jeffries, a 20-year-old Black woman from Akron, OH, tragically lost her life on September 12, 2017. She was fatally shot outside Dunbar Drive and West Thornton Street. The incident occurred around 2:45 AM, and the Summit County Medical Examiner confirmed her death later that day.
