Charles Crum, a 65-year-old male from Centerburg, Ohio, died on September 23, 2017. His death was part of a tragic incident that also involved his wife, Brenda Crum, who was 63 years old. The couple was found dead inside their home on Columbus Road, west of Centerburg, from gunshot wounds. The Knox County Sheriff's Office initially responded to the residence for a welfare check after one of the Crums failed to appear at an event.
