Brandon Lamar Treharn, a 30-year-old African American man from Youngstown, OH, tragically lost his life on November 15, 2017. He was found dead after a shooting incident in the 900 block of Pasadena Avenue off South Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing seven to eight shots before seeing a man lying in the street and another individual running away. Brandon succumbed to his injuries, while Chad Marshall, 38, who was also hit, survived with a shoulder injury.
The police conducted an
extensive search of the area, including nearby woods with K9 units, but did not find any immediate suspects. Lieutenant Doug Bobovnyik stated that while they had several people to interview, there were no suspects at the time. The investigation continued, but as of the latest reports, the case remains unsolved.
The community and Brandon's family have been left with many unanswered questions and a lingering sense of frustration over the lack of resolution in this case. Despite efforts to piece together what happened, the mystery surrounding Brandon's death persists, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew him.
