Tramango Ramone Roper, a 44-year-old African American male from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost his life on December 12, 2017. He was one of two victims in a double homicide that occurred in the early hours of that morning at a residence on Merton Avenue. The other victim, Robin El-Amin, aged 54, was also found shot to death inside the home. The Akron Police Department responded to the scene shortly after 4 a.m. and launched an investigation into the incident.
