On January 6, 2018, Abel H. Beyene, a 30-year-old male of Eritrean ethnicity, was found shot to death in a running car in South Linden, Columbus, OH. The car was discovered by a resident who noticed it running with its lights on in his backyard and called the police at 7:21 a.m. When officers arrived, they found Beyene in the driver's seat with gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.
