Sharda Elmore, a 32-year-old man from Cleveland, Ohio, was fatally shot on February 18, 2018, in Cleveland's Buckeye Shaker neighborhood. The incident occurred at Elmore's home on Lamontier Avenue, where he was shot in the face. Shaker Heights Police arrested Charles Franklin, a 35-year-old man, as the suspect in the case.

Franklin was charged with murder, but during the trial, he claimed that he shot Elmore in self-defense during a struggle with Elmore and an armed bouncer, Tremaine Fost ...
