Gregory Thompson Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on March 2, 2018, in Cincinnati, OH. He was found dead inside his grandmother's home on Wabash Avenue in the Evanston neighborhood. Gregory was a junior at Purcell Marian High School and had a strong connection to the Cincinnati Catholic community, as his mother was the principal at St. Joseph Catholic School.
