On May 9, 2018, Muhammed Dukureh Tunkara, a 41-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in Columbus, Ohio. He was discovered lying on the sidewalk in front of 2167 Yorkhull Lane, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Police officers were called to the scene at approximately 10:48 p.m. after receiving a report of gunshots. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Grant Medical Center, Mr. Tunkara was pronounced deceased at 11:31 p.m.
