Anthony Duane Tony Norman, a 32-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2018, in Akron, Ohio. Norman was fatally shot in his vehicle at 963 Concord Avenue around 11:35 p.m. He was taken to Summa Akron City Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two children, aged 10 and 13, who were in the car with him at the time, were also injured by gunfire but fortunately survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
