Jonathan Devon Franklin Jr., a 43-year-old Black male from Akron, OH, tragically passed away on December 28, 2020. He was one of two victims found shot inside a vehicle in the 600 block of Crouse Street in West Akron. Franklin and a 27-year-old man were discovered by police and taken to a local hospital, where Franklin succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred near Mercer Avenue and Stoner Street.
