James Cecil Bliss, a 70-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed on November 3, 2018, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 7:16 a.m. when the Columbus Division of Police received a call about a shooting at 333 E 9th Ave. Responding officers found Bliss deceased at the scene, and he was pronounced dead at 7:37 a.m. The case remains unsolved, and law enforcement continues to seek information from the public to help solve this homicide.
