Jaykwon M. Sharp, a 14-year-old African American male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2019. Jaykwon was shot and killed near Shady Lane Elementary School in east Columbus. The incident occurred just before 7:00 PM, and another 14-year-old, Miracle Carolina, was also shot and wounded. The shooting stemmed from an argument between Jaykwon and a 13-year-old suspect over a cellphone.
