Shawn C. Hope, a 39-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, Ohio, was fatally shot in the Lower Price Hill neighborhood early on the morning of June 9, 2019. Hope was killed just before 3 a.m. on Neave Street, and within nine hours, police had apprehended a suspect, Navonta Snow, who was 23 years old at the time. Snow was charged with murder in connection to Hope's death.
