Tommy Micah Lavette, a 19-year-old African American male from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2019. He was shot and killed at a gas station located at the intersection of Lee Road and Harvard Avenue. Lavette and two other men had gone to the gas station to meet an unknown individual, who then pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking Lavette and a nearby car. The shooter fled the scene in a gold 4-door sedan, and the incident remains under investigation.
