Jovan Fleming, a 27-year-old man from Cincinnati, OH, was tragically shot multiple times on October 6, 2019, in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Vine Street near Hamer Street. Police officers who were nearby heard the shots and quickly responded to the scene. Despite their efforts, a large and hostile crowd made it difficult for them to render aid.
