On November 1, 2019, 15-year-old JaQuan D. Howard was tragically killed in a shootout at a Hampton Inn in Cincinnati, Ohio. Howard, a young African American male, was one of the gamblers present in the hotel room where the incident occurred. The shootout erupted when three armed men, Jay Harris, Marvin Hughes Brown, and Taymar Jones, attempted to rob the people inside the room.
