Lamond Jamael Ellis, Sr., a 50-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, Ohio, tragically passed away on December 9, 2021. He was found in the Walnut Hills neighborhood, suffering from a gunshot wound. Cincinnati Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene. The Hamilton County Crime Lab listed his death as an apparent homicide. The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit took over the investigation, but as of now, no suspects have been identified or arrests made.
