On November 4, 2019, Jorge DelRio, a 55-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, died from injuries sustained in a shooting incident in Dayton, Ohio. DelRio, a dedicated officer with the Dayton Police Department and a DEA Task Force Officer, was shot while executing a federal search warrant on Ruskin Road. The incident occurred as part of a narcotics investigation aimed at seizing a significant amount of fentanyl and other drugs.
