Tajae Carless, a 20-year-old Black male from Cleveland, tragically died on December 23, 2019, from a gunshot wound in Akron, Ohio. He was found fatally shot outside of 1775 Sheffield Drive in Akron at around 6:16 p.m. Carless was initially taken to Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls before being transferred to Summa Akron City Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Despite extensive investigations, the Akron Police Department has not made any arrests or identified suspects
in connection with Carless's death. Detectives have spoken to the driver who took Carless to the hospital but have yet to piece together the incident fully. The case remains unsolved, and the Akron Police Department continues to seek additional information and leads to bring justice for Tajae Carless.
