On March 24, 2022, Kismet Sengdan, a 10-year-old boy from Akron, Ohio, tragically died from a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred in the North Hill neighborhood of Akron, where Kismet was visiting a home. According to investigators, the shooting was accidental and resulted from another child mishandling an unsecured handgun. The gun, which belonged to a resident of the home who was not present at the time, discharged when one of the children stumbled upon it.
