On March 27, 2020, Jesse K. Baubeng, a 25-year-old male of West Chester, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident at Lakota Lake Apartments. The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. when officers responded to a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found Jesse K. Baubeng dead at the scene. Another man, Mahmoud Alchahal, was found shot in the foot and was taken to West Chester Hospital.
