Jimmi D. Simpson, a 25-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. He was found inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound at around 10:59 PM. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced deceased at 11:08 PM by CFD Medic 18. The incident occurred in the rear of 912 E. 17th Ave. Another individual present at the scene was uninjured and has not been publicly identified.
