Leontae Johnson, a 24-year-old male from Cincinnati, OH, tragically lost his life on July 1, 2020. Johnson was one of two victims in a double murder that occurred in Winton Place, Cincinnati. The incident took place on Spring Grove Avenue, where Johnson and another 24-year-old, Choya Elmer, were shot while in a car. The vehicle crashed into a utility pole following the shooting, and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect in this case, 25-year-old Michael Glover, was
arrested the following day and charged with two counts of murder. Glover was believed to have gunned down Johnson and Elmer in a drive-by shooting. The motive behind the killings has not been disclosed by the police. Glover appeared in court shortly after his arrest, and a judge set his bond at $1.5 million.
