On May 31, 2023, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Cincinnati police responded to reports of a person lying in the roadway on Enright Avenue in the East Price Hill neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 15-year-old Jamon’ee Crawley suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
