On July 25, 2020, 27-year-old Allante Riggins, a Black man from Cleveland, OH, was shot and killed at a shopping plaza on East 75th Street and Kinsman Avenue. The incident occurred during an altercation with two individuals in a vehicle in the parking lot. Surveillance video captured the altercation and the shooting. After being shot, Riggins was transported to University Hospitals, where he died the following day.
