Stephen Ritter II, a 50-year-old man from Canal Winchester, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed in his home on August 27, 2020. Deputies were called to the residence in the early hours of the morning following a report of domestic violence. Upon arrival, they discovered Stephen Ritter II deceased from a gunshot wound. The investigation quickly focused on his 22-year-old son, Stephen L. Ritter III, who was taken into custody at the scene.
