Responding to reports of a shooting, Breckenridge Police Department officers discovered Glenn with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The primary suspect, identified as Glenn's grandson, 25-year-old Logan Scott Bills, was observed fleeing the scene with a firearm. Several hours later, Bills was apprehended without incident at his grandmother's residence in Eastland County. During a custodial interview, Bills confessed to shooting his grandfather with a .40 caliber Glock pistol, which was subsequently recovered from his pickup truck.
