DarShawn Jauan Carr, a 27-year-old Black male from Akron, OH, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2020. He was found shot inside his residence at 757 Alicia Walk, Akron, Ohio. The Akron Police Department responded to a call about a man who had been shot around 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Carr with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
