On January 24, 2021, 14-year-old Dayvion Jones was fatally shot on Hazelwood Road in Columbus, Ohio. Dayvion was walking home when he was confronted by a group of men in a stolen SUV. During the confrontation, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot Dayvion, who was later rushed to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The suspects involved in Dayvion's death were identified as 19-year-old Aboubacar Toure and 18-year-old Sabab Islam. Both were arrested in ...
