Dontae Lamar Maurice Crowder, a 25-year-old Black male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2021. On that fateful evening, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 1800 block of East Rich Street at around 9:42 PM following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Crowder suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Grant Hospital, Crowder was pronounced deceased at 10:07 PM.
