Kyree J. Young, an 18-year-old African American male from Akron, OH, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2021. Kyree was a highly recruited running back and a standout football player at Buchtel High School. He had received offers from several top football programs across the country, including Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, and many others. His promising future was cut short when he was shot in the 1600 block of Brittain Road in Akron.
