Audreona Barnes, an 18-year-old female of African American ethnicity, tragically lost her life on July 30, 2021, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her death was the result of a gunshot wound to the head, inflicted by her then-boyfriend, Bennie Washington. Washington, who was 40 years old at the time, subsequently left her body on the balcony of his apartment, where it remained undiscovered until March 2022.
