On August 11, 2021, Kyran Reese, a 19-year-old male of Black ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed in Winton Hills, Cincinnati, OH. Reese was one of two individuals shot on Craft Street around 11:45 p.m. He was transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital via private transportation but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The other victim was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
