A man is shot in a vehicle
Dontae Whaley, a 26-year-old man, was fatally shot on July 5, 2017, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Around 5:43 p.m., officers from Cincinnati’s District Five responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Lingo Street. Upon arrival, they found Whaley inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Whaley's untimely death left his family and the community searching for answers and justice.
