Daytona Marie Thomas, a 45-year-old African American woman from Garfield Heights, Ohio, tragically lost her life on August 26, 2021. She was found shot to death in the second-floor bedroom of her home by her daughter. The Garfield Heights police ruled her death a homicide and have been investigating the case ever since.
