Blake Sargi, a 28-year-old man from Painesville, Ohio, died on October 1, 2021, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound outside the Lake County Courthouse. Sargi was on trial for the shooting deaths of Heavenly Goddess Murphy-Jackson, 38, and William Larondez Jackson Jr., 39, who were killed in their SUV in Concord Township in July 2020. The jury had reached a verdict in his trial, and Sargi shot himself in the parking lot before entering the courthouse.
